

St. Mark Baptist Church in Garland, TX, established in 1976 by the late Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Griffin, proudly welcomes its fourth shepherd, Pastor Christopher Williams. Assuming this pivotal role in April 2025, Pastor Williams brings a dynamic and empowering approach to ministry, building upon a strong foundation of faith.
Prior to his arrival at St. Mark, Pastor Williams faithfully served as the Senior Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship in Little Rock, AR, where his leadership fostered spiritual growth and community engagement. A native son of Little Rock, AR, born to the late Rev. Michael and Deborah Williams and the youngest of three siblings, Pastor Williams' roots are firmly planted in faith.His calling to the Gospel Ministry was realized in 2014 under the guidance of Pastor J. Barrington Minix, Sr., at the Gaines Street Baptist Church, where he was licensed and ordained. This pivotal experience ignited a deep passion within him to serve God's people with dedication.
Known for his compelling biblical preaching and insightful teaching, Pastor Williams possesses a remarkable ability to empower believers to embrace a richer discipleship. His ministry is characterized by a focus on cultivating a deeper faith in Jesus Christ and unlocking the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Williams is also a dedicated seeker of knowledge and scholarship, firmly believing in the power of education to shape individuals. At the heart of Pastor Williams' life is his cherished family. He shares the joys of parenthood with his loving wife, Lady Chantel Williams, through their three daughters, Jalisa, Destinee, and Jurnee, and one God-daughter, Gabrielle. With his strong spiritual foundation, his passion for empowering believers, and his genuine love for God's people, Pastor Christopher Williams is poised to lead St. Mark Baptist Church into a vibrant future.
